Kais Saied urges state officials to hold on to victory or martyrdom

The President of the Republic Kais Saied called on state officials to indulge in the spirit of a fighter who only accepts victory or homeless martyrdom between them, during a meeting convened on Friday 6 November 2026 at Carthage Palace with the President of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People Brahim Bouderbala and the Chairman of the National Council of Governments and Regions Emad Derbaly.

During the meeting, the President of the Republic stressed the need to redouble the efforts of various state institutions and work to integrate their roles, considering that the country is currently going through historical moments that require mobilization of energy and full vigilance.

Saied clarified that what he described as the National Liberation War would continue its course fully and steadily without any change in its established directions, stressing the duty of every official to engage directly within this stage.

The President of the Republic had previously confirmed at a meeting that the National Liberation War would continue without changing its course, pointing out that there were deliberate disruptions to public facilities, and had previously announced during the Cabinet meeting that the state's path continues to fulfill the aspirations of citizens and overcome economic and social difficulties.
