Kais Saied stresses the continuation of the national liberation war and accuses parties of disrupting facilities

President of the Republic Kais Saied, during his meeting on Friday 6 November 2026 at Carthage Palace chairman of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People Brahim Bouderbala and president of the National Council of Governments and Regions Imad Derballi, confirmed that the war of national liberation will continue and will never change its course. The meeting discussed the workflow of public institutions and the general situation in the country.

The President of the Republic pointed out that many public facilities are experiencing deliberate and intentional malfunctions.

Saied said those who fantasize about playing championship roles are nothing more than puppets driven by the forces of reaction, adding that these are driven by illusions of returning to the country and trying to hinder government and institutional work in managing public affairs.

The President of the Republic had stressed at a Cabinet meeting chaired by him in Carthage Palace late last October on continuing the war on corruption, considering that the state's path continues towards achieving the aspirations of citizens and overcoming economic and social difficulties through practical steps and decisive decisions.
