Researchers Develop Artificial Intelligence Model for Olive Oil Quality

A scientific team, under the supervision of researcher Amima el-Ifa, has developed the first Tunisian model using artificial intelligence to assess olive oil quality. The innovation was achieved within the company Eiklida in collaboration with local engineers to digitize quality criteria and monitor natural oil characteristics.

This technological solution aims to support the competitiveness of the olive oil export sector and enhance its marketing value in international markets. The project was presented at the economic forum for valorizing olive oil in Sfax.
