The court has postponed the trial of former Manouba governor Ahmed Samawi in a financial corruption case
The Financial Corruption Criminal Chamber has postponed the case of the former governor of Manouba to November 30 to await an appeal to the Court of Cassation in the public transport license file.

The decision to delay was based on the pending appeal by Rood Ma'al to the Court of Cassation in the course of the case, which revolves around allegations of financial and administrative corruption related to a supervisory period for the province and its accompanying public transportation license issuance files.
The defendants in this case are represented in the event of their release before the judiciary, where follow-up is related to the investigation of administrative and financial violations attributed to the period during which Skyli assumed his official duties, pending completion of the procedural considerations of the appeals brought before the Court of Cassation.
The next procedural step in the court's appeal is its hearings in late November this year to petition the appellate courts and begin the substantive advocacy of the file.
