The court decides to suspend the coastal star's extraordinary hearing

The Sousse District Court of Appeal has issued a ruling suspending the work of the coastal sports star's extraordinary public hearing. This session was scheduled for Saturday 7 November 2026 at the headquarters of the Object Society Hotel on Kalâa Seghira Road in Sousse.

This judicial intervention came in response to an urgent lawsuit brought by a group of club members through their lawyers to challenge the constitutional amendment. In their legal framework, the plaintiffs considered that the interim supervisory body exceeded its limits and was stripped of the legitimate electoral bond authorized to make substantial amendments to the texts of the assembly.

The club's administrative department has declared its compliance with the court order and officially cancelled the public hearing. The Authority is currently studying the legal implications and consequences of the judicial decision in order to decide on future administrative procedures to ensure the stability of the Association.

The Authority had called for this meeting in mid-October to vote on a review package and create new supervisory structures to address the financial crisis and mismanagement. This coincided with the cancellation of a general election which was scheduled on the same date after the deadlines had expired without registering any candidate for the presidency of the governing body.
