The Qatari expert announces the acquisition of 91.4% of the 2027 budget

He explained that these data were presented during the study of the draft budget in joint meetings with the National Council of Local Authorities and Regions.

The project data presented indicate an estimated tax revenue of about 49600 million dinars, out of a total estimated public income of 54280 million dinars. The economic balance sheet documents also showed that the expected growth rate for next year was adjusted towards decline to stabilize at 3.1% after being previously set at about 3.8% within the major trends of the development plan.

He said the projected growth rate remains below the real potential of the national economy, stressing that a growth of less than 4% is not enough to employ unemployed and reduce worsening unemployment. He added that this revised ratio would not provide the necessary opportunities to integrate graduates and graduates of the vocational formation system into the economic cycle.

The discussion of these figures comes in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the Basic Budget Law, which define the legal framework and constitutional grounds for referring financial bills to the government and discussing them in parliament in cooperation between the two chambers through joint hearings of representatives of the government team.

The joint parliamentary committees are aiming to complete the hearings of members of the government concerned with the financial and economic project in the coming days. The Joint Report will then be referred to Parliament's General Meeting to discuss the chapters of the Finance Bill for 2027 and approved before the end of December 2026.
