ISIE proposes municipal entitlement regulation during the spring of 2017
ISIE has declared its complete logistical and technical readiness to organise the proposed municipal elections next spring with allocation of appropriations for election paths within its budget project.

ISIE councillor Mahmoud Wahour announced today at the Bardo Palace that the body had proposed organising municipal elections during spring 2017. This came during a joint session devoted to considering the body's draft budget, where it was shown that preparations were ongoing to complete this merit on the proposed deadline.
Board member Mahmoud Wahoor said that the body is logistically and technically ready to organize this election date. He added that the agency is continuously developing digital systems and updating its various operating mechanisms, allocating an annual portion of its budget to cover this technical purpose and performance improvement.
The Agency's budget project for 2017 included a financial allocation of 57 million dinars and 700,000 dinars to cover its expenses and operational programmes. Some 30 million dinars of this total amount were allocated for the benefit of the upcoming election tracks and related technical preparations. These moves come in the context of ongoing discussions on the body's 2027 budget inside the Bardo Palace to study the requirements for the next phase. The Authority's plan is based on the financial and logistical possibilities for organising municipal elections pending the completion of the remaining official arrangements to determine the proposed timetable.
