The National Football League imposes financial penalties on professional clubs

The National Professional Soccer Association's Office imposed disciplinary sanctions and fines on the first and second-tier clubs during its meeting in Tunis. The decisions included punishing Club Africain with a reprimand and a fine of 10 thousand dinars for repeating the shots for the second time in his match against CA Bizertin.

The disciplinary authority also imposed a fine of 7 thousand dinars on sports club CS Sfaxien for throwing shots while facing Espérance Sportive de Tunis. Stade Tunisien received the same penalty with a rebuke and a fine of 7 thousand dinars for the same reason after his last meeting against Club Africain.

Disciplinary measures were extended to League Two clubs after recording breaches in their stadiums, where Hilal Chebba was fined 1000 dinars with a reprimand for lighting the fireworks, and Kalaa Sports 1500 dinars with the reprimand of throwing shots. Le Kef was fined 3,000 dinars for repeated pitching, and Gafsa Caravans was fined 1,500 dinars for breaking into the ground.

Disciplinary decisions are based on the provisions of the rules governing competitions which stipulate tougher financial penalties in cases of sticks and repeated throwing of shots and jars from the crowd. The disciplinary office had previously fined CA Bizertin 10 thousand dinars, imposed a fine of 2000 dinars on Avenir Sportif de Kasserine with the deprivation of his assistant coach from sitting on the bench for two matches and fined him 1500 dinars, along with a fine of 1,000 dinars and referral of the file of violent exchange between the head of Sporting Moknine and US Ksour Essaf to the National Committee for Discipline and Sports Spirit.

The sports legal framework for clubs concerned with sanctions allows for the possibility of appeals against these decisions to the National Appeals Committee of the Tunisian Football Association within specified areas.
