Court of Cassation Affirms Sentences in the Second Conspiracy Case

The Court of Cassation has rejected all appeals in the second conspiracy against state security case and upheld the appellate judgments.

The criminal chamber has confirmed a 20-year prison sentence for Rached Ghannouchi, the leader of Ennahda, and Khaled Boudi.

The criminal chamber has sentenced former security officials Maher Zouari and Abdelkrim Oubiedi to 12 years in prison, and Fathi Belaid and Samir Hanachi to 15 years.

The sentences also include a 35-year prison sentence with immediate execution for fugitives, including Nada Ouakacha, Khaled al-Qizani, and Lutfi Zitoun.
