National Unity March Continues in Capital Streets

The national popular march began at 11:00 AM from Mohamed Ali Square. The march proceeded from the central headquarters of the General Union of Tunisian Workers through Habib Thameur Street and Republic Square to Habib Bourguiba Street.

The march was organized by a coordination committee comprising nine national, trade union, and human rights organizations, including the General Union of Tunisian Workers, the Bar Association, the Human Rights League, and the Journalists' Syndicate.

Participants are raising the slogan 'Work, Freedom, National Dignity' to demand an end to the tightening of public freedoms and the cancellation of prosecutions under Decree-Law 54.
