Water Company Begins Expansion of Sea Water Desalination Plant in Zarats

The National Water Company has begun the procedures for expanding the sea water desalination plant in Zarats, Marth, in Gabès governorate. The company's general manager, Abdelhamid Menge, conducted a field visit to Gabès to oversee the actual start of the project.

The project comes after the signing of a financial loan agreement to enhance production capacity and ensure regular supply of potable water in the area.
