Eggs Producers Call for Tax Exemption on Generators

The president of the Tunisian Association of Consumer Egg Producers, Hsissib Al-Fakhfakh, called for a tax exemption on generators for small and medium-sized chicken farmers as part of the 2027 budget bill.

Al-Fakhfakh stressed that the sector has suffered losses due to heatwaves and frequent power outages during the summer months last year, which have caused significant losses for chicken farmers.
