Protesters Burn Factory in Zoulboufet After Man’s Death

The city of Zoulboufet in Nabeul Governorate witnessed a surge in public anger and the storming of a fly larvae breeding factory following the death of a man in a truck accident outside the facility. Protesters broke the factory's door and set it on fire after the death of Hussein Dridi, who succumbed to his injuries.

The actions were a continuation of previous demands by the local community to close the factory due to its proximity to residential areas and vital facilities. The public prosecutor in Nabeul inspected the body and ordered its transfer to the forensic doctor, while opening an investigation to uncover the circumstances of the incident and identify the responsible parties.
