The Appeals Committee approves the re-match between AS Marsa and Étoile Sportive du Sahel
The University Committee supports the decision of the Association's Office to resume the full meeting after a change of player has been made without permission from the referee.

The Appeals Committee of the Tunisian Football University approved, on Monday 2 November 2026 in Tunisia, the decision of the National Association of Professional Soccer (NAS) Office to referee the match of AS Marsa and the full coastal sports star. This legal decision came after the host team proved to have made a change to one of its players without obtaining a prior license or a signal from the main match ruler.
In its ruling, the Commission rejected an appeal brought by the management of AS Marsa, confirming the existence of the violation committed regarding the conditions for the entry of substitutes to the field floor, which requires the support of the preliminary decision issued by the competent sports judiciary structures.
The management of AS Marsa had asked the Appeals Committee to overturn the decision of the Association's office and establish the result on the field floor, while the board of directors of the Coastal Sports Star upheld its official protest based on a technical error affecting the course of the confrontation and the safety of legal transfer procedures.
The events of the file go back to the teams' confrontation for the 4th round of the first professional league championship, which took place on 13 September 2026 at the Abdul Aziz Winter Stadium in La Marsa and ended on the pitch with the landlords winning a goal without pay, before the league office issued its preliminary decision to accept the reservation and meet again on 7 October 2026.
During the next stage, the relevant structures of the National Professional Soccer Association will determine a new official date and venue for the replay between the two clubs.
