Simultaneous Legal Hearings for Activists in Several Tunisian Courts

Simultaneous legal hearings were held in several Tunisian courts for activists involved in various cases related to demonstrations, expression, documentation, and blogging.

The Court of First Instance in Tunis heard cases involving Rishad Al-Thunayyan and Saeed Al-Shabbi for supporting the Al-Salam fleet.

Rishad Tnoubi was also heard in Menzel Bouzid for a poster reading 'Down with the Military Ruling' which was raised in 2022.

The Court of First Instance in Ariana heard the appeal of Osama Al-Ashari, founder of the Mofma group, against a suspended sentence for documenting a security intervention in a cultural space.

Kareem Truaa was also heard in Ben Zit for a post regarding the situation of the unemployed.
