I understand Neffert apologizes for running for the presidency of Hammam Sousse
The sportsman is retreating from the club's leadership due to his career commitments abroad as consultations continue to elect a new board of directors.

Sportsman Fahmi Al-Never announced today 2 November 2026 his official apology for running for the presidency of Hammam Sousse Sports Hope Club in the next phase. Al-Nefir stepped down from the leadership of the club hours after reaching a preliminary agreement with active parties within the association on 1 November 2026, at which point he embarked on consultations to form his initial electoral list for the management of the club.
Al-Never reversed his decision to withdraw from his existing professional commitments outside of Tunisia, stating that it prevented his daily and field presence to pursue the team's affairs and run his business. In the meantime, consultations and contacts are continuing within the club to seek alternative management solutions and to form a body to manage the affairs of the association after this apology.
Never apologized to the hopeful crowd and the club's extended family for failing to continue his efforts to lead the team, stressing his inability to provide the full-time required to pursue the clubs daily sports activities.
The club's administrative vacancy dates back to the resignation of its former president, Adel Morgan, followed by the resignations of 4 members from his executive office on 27 October 2026, which is why the managing body is legally dissolved based on sections 13, 34, 35, 36, 43 and 44 of the Statute of the Organized Association for vacancy procedures and dissolving bodies.
The candidacies for the club's membership and presidency are scheduled to close on 11 November 2026, with an extraordinary general election to be held on 13 November 2026 at Hammam Sousse Town Hall to select a new administration to manage the team's affairs.
