The Kerkennah shipping company warns of disruption to cargo flights
The new transport company Kerkennah is announcing the possibility of disruption to Lode's cruises on Sunday night and full Monday due to bad weather.

The new Kerkennah shipping company announced on Sunday, November 1st, 2026 the possibility of disruption to schedules for ferry connecting Sfax and Kerkennah Island. This alert was issued due to weather fluctuations and bad weather conditions affecting the safety of navigation in the region.
This potential disruption includes scheduled sea trips on Sunday night, November 1, 2026 and full on Monday, November 2, 2026. The precautionary measures announced are based on Special Air Leaflet No. 165 issued on 31 October 2026, which warned of deterioration of weather factors and associated navigation difficulties.
The company's management confirmed that it continues to closely monitor developments in the atmosphere in coordination with relevant authorities. The administration explained that it will keep passengers informed of the developments in schedules and any possible adjustment or modification to the flight schedule in Lebanon to facilitate their transportation and avoid disruption. This precautionary measure comes within the requirements of the Maritime Ports Journal, the Commercial Navigation and Maritime Safety Laws, which allow public transport and port authorities to modify or stop ship movements to protect lives and equipment. During earlier periods of the same year, the airline experienced disruptions and circumstantial suspensions of flights due to rising wind speeds and high tides.
The company intends to keep communication channels open with the general public to notify passengers of any updates related to the resumption of normal activity of ships once the weather stabilizes and the warning leaflet expires.
