Agriculture Minister Calls for Speeding Up Water Projects

Agriculture Minister Zeid Ben Sheik called for accelerating the implementation of ongoing water projects in various regions.

During a regular meeting with regional agricultural development officers, the minister emphasized the need to put these facilities into operation to improve access to drinking water.

This call came after a meeting between the agriculture minister and President Kais Saied, who highlighted the importance of agriculture to national security and called for protecting date palm crops and small farmers.

The authorities aim to avoid recurring water shortages and achieve a balanced water situation in the country.
