Negotiations Aim to Reduce Prices of Consumer Goods and Boost Flour Supply

The National Chamber of Large Commercial Spaces, in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce, has initiated meetings to determine a list of price reductions for a basket of food items and cleaning materials. The negotiations are also aimed at addressing supply disruptions of sugar and rice in the markets.

Additional quantities of flour have also been released to address the shortage. Authorities have emphasized the need to intensify on-site supervision and combat hoarding.
