The Ministry of Transport has begun implementing a partial traffic diversion on the southern highway in Jebel Al-Jalud. The diversion is aimed at facilitating the demolition of the old Lakania bridge, which connects the areas of Bab Al-Aliwa and the southern entrance.
The Ministry of Interior has advised road users heading to the southern suburbs to use alternative routes such as Radès Bridge and Saint Qoubane Bridge. The works are ongoing day and night until November 1, which will result in reduced traffic lanes.
