Said Appoints New Members to the Criminal Compromise Committee

President Kais Saied has appointed new members to the Criminal Compromise Committee during a meeting held at Carthage Palace.

He stressed that accountability remains a legitimate demand of the Tunisian people and that there is no room for compromising even a single millimeter of public funds due.

Earlier, President Saied had appointed Judge Ali Abbass as the head of this body to follow up on the recovery of stolen funds.

He believes that reshaping the committee represents a new opportunity to revive the process of criminal compromise after its previous stagnation.
