The Ministry of Trade and Export Development's surveillance teams recorded 86,000 economic breaches in Tunisia during the first 10 months of this year.

Supervisory teams have carried out more than 507,000 surveillance operations involving various distribution channels, wholesale and retail outlets to reduce violations. These intensive inspection campaigns focused on tightening measures to tackle monopoly operations, illegal speculation and follow-up of overruns in pricing.

Supervisory measures extended to state-owned public property and the movement of functional vehicles on various roads. The inspections and examinations of nearly 17,000 administrative vehicles resulted in the registration and release of 546 offences related to the misuse of the state fleet and its employment outside defined legal frameworks.
