Agriculture Minister Calls for Speeding Up Water Projects

Agriculture Minister Zeid Ben Sheik has called for the acceleration of ongoing water projects in various regions.

During a regular meeting with regional agricultural delegates, the minister emphasized the need to put these facilities into operation to improve water supply.

This call came after a meeting between the minister and President Kais Saied, who highlighted the importance of agriculture to national security and called for the protection of date palm crops and small farmers.

The authorities aim to avoid recurring water shortages and achieve a balanced water situation in the country.
