Several areas in Tataouine witnessed heavy rainfall that rejuvenated vegetation and pastures. The rainfall was recorded in the villages of Qasr al-`Un, Qasr al-`Aldhab, and the areas of Dairat and Wadi al-Khayl in the southeastern depths.
The heavy rainfall caused the river to flow between the villages of Dairat and Qasr al-`Aldhab for the first time since the last drought seasons.
Farmers and livestock breeders welcomed the rainfall with great relief, hoping for improved pastures and reduced feed costs.
