Residents of Toubouline Protest After Protester Dies in Car Accident

The area of Toubouline in Nabeul governorate is witnessing widespread anger and tension following the death of a protester hit by a car in front of a local factory. Eyewitnesses reported that an administrative official tried to provoke female protesters before a man named Hussein was hit by a motorcycle while participating in a protest against the factory.

Angry protesters stormed the factory known locally as the 'black fly' factory late at night and set it on fire after gathering in front of its premises. The public prosecutor has ordered the body to be sent to the forensic medicine department for autopsy and has opened an investigation into the suspected murder.
