The national team announces the roster next Saturday night
The announcement of the names invited to the qualifiers comes after the completion of the first professional league qualification matches in preparation for Libya's African Nations qualifiers.

On the evening of Saturday, 7 November 2026, the coach of the national football team, Shababani, announces his official list of players invited to participate in the upcoming training camp. The timing of the name disclosure coincides with the completion of the scheduled drawing matches for the 7th round of the first professional league championship scheduled on the same day without any change in roster.
The players' invitation comes after a technical follow-up to their performance on deferred tours, leading up to the launch of training camp as soon as the roster is complete for the upcoming Carthage Eagles international qualifications and dates. This ranking falls within the International Pause Period approved by the IFA, which runs for nine days in preparation for the third and fourth rounds of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The national team occupies third place in Group Eight with two points, after being drawn in the first and second rounds to Uganda with a goal of his own and Botswana with two goals of their own. The rules of qualification for this group stipulate that only one team qualifies for the continental finals, accompanied by the automatically qualified Uganda team as one of the tournament organisers.
Field preparations begin with the gathering of national elements on Sunday 8 November, before moving to Sfax City for the first training session on 9 November. The national team will receive its Libyan counterpart on Friday 13 November 2026 at the Etihad Stadium in Sfax at 5 p.m., before the Carthage Eagles delegation travels on a private flight on 15 November to Tripoli to face Libya on Tuesday 17 November.
