Maritime Smuggling Attempt Foiled in Bouficha

The Maritime Guidance Unit of the National Guard foiled an attempt to cross the maritime border illegally from the coast of Bouficha. The naval units seized a wooden boat carrying more people than its capacity, including women, children, and infants, who were preparing for a secret voyage.

The security intervention resulted in the seizure of the boat, a marine engine, a quantity of fuel, a motorcycle, and a compass for determining the course. Security units continue their legal procedures regarding the arrested group after referring them to the relevant center.
