A civilian coalition decides to expand its movements in the parties
In political movements, the civil coalition known as the Coordination Framework for Tunisia and Tunisians announced its intention to expand its field activities over the coming weeks.
The coalition, which includes the UGTT, the Human Rights Association and the Bar Association, has decided to start forming geographical and local coordinates within different states.
The Joint Statement called for respect for the independence of the judiciary, fair trial conditions, the right of defence and withdrawal from restrictions on public work. The organizations reaffirmed their refusal to isolate themselves from national affairs and exclude civil society components from decision-making.
