Agriculture Ministry Announces Multi-Year Strategy for Water Supply

The Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources announced a multi-year strategy to ensure regular supply of potable water across the country. This announcement came in response to a question posed by Member of Parliament Aïsméddine Drou to the Chamber of Deputies regarding frequent water supply interruptions.

This development-oriented plan, led by the National Company for the Development and Distribution of Water, aims to address water pressure and the impacts of climate change. Relevant departments are working on developing water infrastructure to ensure the continuous distribution of drinking water to citizens without interruption.
