Appeal Court Tightens Sentences in Gribaa Synagogue Attack to 10 Years in Prison

In the case of the attack on the Gribaa synagogue in Jribet, the Appeal Court in Tunisia has tightened the prison sentences for four accused.

The criminal chamber sentenced four defendants, including the girlfriend of the attacker, to ten years in prison.

The court also ordered the defendants to be subject to administrative supervision for five years after serving their prison sentences.

The case dates back to May 2023 and resulted in the deaths of security personnel and civilians.
