Widespread Political Participation in Protest and Counter-Campaigns of Slander

Opposition parties are participating in the protest to demand the immediate release of political detainees, including the Democratic Current, Republican, Workers', Coalition, Horizons, Pole, Path, and Socialist parties, as well as a statement from the National Democratic Party.

In contrast, a faction of Manji al-Rahi's party, the Solid Front, has refused to participate in the protest, while supporters of the 25 July movement have launched slander campaigns against the participants.

Activist Nabil Rmah described the participants as traitors, while MP Faten al-Masadi stated that the protest will not erase what she calls the crimes of the decade of assassinations.
