Traffic fatalities in Tunisia have risen to 1,029 since the beginning of 2026.

The number of traffic fatalities in Tunisia from the beginning of 2026 to the end of October 1 rose to 1,029 fatalities, an increase of 10.76% compared to the same period last year (929 fatalities), according to the latest National Traffic Safety Observatory statistics.
