Kairouan Airlines delivered, on Friday evening 6 November 2026, three new intercity buses equipped with state-of-the-art technology. These buses are among the first to include seven vehicles programmed to reinforce the fleet on the side.

The vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art technical equipment geared to the public transport service and the development of regular line readiness.

Kairouan airline's air traffic manager Mohammad Rauf al-Zawahiri said the new buses feature a variety of amenities including air conditioners and an indoor refrigerator dedicated to transporting medicines and sensitive materials. He added that the vehicles were equipped with seat belts and surveillance cameras to improve mobility conditions and provide safety and comfort for passengers. These equipment come to strengthen the logistics capabilities of the airline and respond to the increasing demands of passengers on inter-city transport lines. Through these facilities, the organisation aims to raise the level of services and ensure flights in conditions suitable for citizens.

The company expects to complete the remaining four additional buses in the coming period to reach a total of seven scheduled buses.
