The people of the good night in El Fahs are demanding a radical solution to the drinking water crisis
The drinking water crisis at the Zaghouan Al-Saleh headquarters is exacerbating the suffering of the population and forcing farmers to sell their livestock as the water table declines and the network lengthens.

These demands stem from the current water system's inability to provide the daily necessities of the population and the threat to agricultural activity throughout the region.
Agricultural investor in the area Alexander Dredi confirmed that water scarcity was the biggest challenge to agricultural activity after the fall of the water table, noting that he had to sell his herd because Le Kef (Le Kef) water was not available for grazing and production. He explained that the additional cost of buying water tanks at a price of 100 dinars per 4000 liters is not enough to meet the demands of farming, requiring urgent extra well drilling.
The civil society activist in the area of Mehdi Al-Din al-Slat explained that the outages lasted for a large number of families, especially in remote residential communities. He called for technical intervention to amend the existing distribution system and ensure regular access of drinking water to all households to protect the basic rights of residents and end long waiting periods.
The current crisis is due to the structure of the water network that stretches nearly 80 kilometers within the region, against the weakness and limitation of available water resources.
