Airstrikes have claimed more than 30 dead and wounded in Yemen
The airstrikes targeted a popular market in a province that has left dozens of casualties amid an exchange of accusations among Yemeni parties about responsibility.

The strikes have caused widespread human casualties across the market in the target area.
A military spokesman for the Houthi group, Yahya Habib, explained that three airstrikes directly targeted the Civilization Market located in Al-Zawahiri district of Taiz state. He quickly confirmed that the bombing resulted in dozens of deaths at the said location as a result of the popular market being targeted by successive air strikes.
The Yemeni sides for their part exchanged direct accusations of responsibility for this bloody attack, with narratives about who carried out the strikes diverging amid continued field and military tensions in the region. The targeting comes as part of a series of strikes and military operations involving populated areas, civilian facilities and commercial markets in various Yemeni governorates.
