Rapid rescue teams entered the scene to immediately evacuate the injured and transport them to nearby hospitals.

Data from the crash site indicates that the two victims were a minor and a young man who were on board the bus as it traveled, while 16 other passengers suffered various injuries.

The school bus was carrying a number of passengers, including children who were on their way to school before deviating from its usual route in the rural town.
