The Air Traffic Control Institute warns of lightning and strong winds
The National Institute of Meteorology expects heavy rainfall and frost to fall in some eastern areas with wind gusts exceeding 70 kilometers per hour.

The National Institute of Meteorology today announced on Saturday, November 7, 2026, that temporary thunderstorms and sometimes heavy rains continue to fall from a number of sources, coinciding with the issuance of warnings from relevant stakeholders. Climate fluctuations included scattered areas stretching through the second half of the day to central and southern locations.
The northeastern and central regions, including Sfax, the tribal homeland, and the coastline, are experiencing dense clouds accompanied by thunderstorms with a limited chance of cold. Strong winds were also forecast from the northern sector in the north and from the eastern sector in the central and south, strengthening near thunderstorms to over 70 kilometers per hour in the form of hurricanes.
According to the Institute, temperatures at night range between 16 and 21 degrees Celsius, and are within 14 degrees in the western highlands. The maximum daytime temperatures have been stable between 22 and 27 degrees overall, and within 19 degrees in the western highlands, with a slightly disturbed sea to a wavy east coast.
The fluctuations had begun overnight with cross-country drag gradually intensifying with scattered rainfall near the northern coast and locally in the extreme southeast, before later expanding to the rest of the central and eastern regions of the country.
