Minister of Health Mustafa al-Furghani opened the Arab Conference on Neurosurgery in Tunisia with the participation of 200 doctors and experts to research the development of medical services in the interior.

Minister of Health Mustafa Furghani participated on Friday 6 November 2026 in Tunisia in the opening of the 15th conference of the Arab Society of Neurosurgery. This Arab medical meeting is being held in conjunction with the organization of the 39th Conference of the Tunisian Association of Neurosurgeons, attended by a large gathering of medical professionals.
The conference was attended by 200 doctors and experts from 22 Arab and foreign countries to discuss the reality of the sector and ways to develop it. Work sessions throughout the days of the conference focus on learning precision medical specialty support mechanisms within hospital institutions and improving the quality of therapeutic interventions.
Minister of Health Mustafa al-Fargaani stressed the importance of turning Arab scientific cooperation into tangible gains that directly reflect on the health of patients. He explained that the main goal is to bring specialized health services to citizens, especially residents of inland areas who need to strengthen their medical infrastructure.
The event is part of the research on specialist care development mechanisms where participants can share field experiences and learn about the latest modern techniques used in neurosurgery. This scientific exchange aims to enhance clinical interventions and develop pathways for diagnosis, treatment, health follow-up and patient-directed medical qualification.
The work of this joint scientific conference between the Arab Association and the Tunisian Society for Neurosurgery continues until November 8 to complete a review of medical research and dialogue sessions among the participating doctors.
