Security arrested a suspect wanted in Nabeul drug cases

The Nabeul anti-narcotics unit of the Justice Police Department in Bagrijani was detained on Saturday, November 7, 2026, by a suspect described as dangerous after being prosecuted for money laundering and promotion. The operation came after intense security investigations led to his location being located and a raid on his new residence.

The arrest involves four indictments, including drug trafficking, money laundering, possession of an unlicensed firearm and counterfeiting. The security services had tracked the suspect's movements after he left his former residence in La Marsa and settled in the Mrazza area of Hammamet local municipality, Nabeul state.

A security source for the Tunisian African News Agency explained that the case file relates to previous bookings involving about 500 kilograms of Indian cannabis, equivalent to nearly 5,000 sheets. The same source added that reservations related to the case also included a firearm and a significant amount of money that units had previously seized.

The security authorities retained the suspect to complete the necessary investigations and investigations into the charges against him, before he was subsequently referred to the court for legal action.
