Tunisia holds the presidency of the International Federation of Clinical Biology and Laboratory Medicine

Tunisia assumed the presidency of the Franco-French International Federation of Clinical Biology and Laboratory Medicine on 05 November 2026, following the official announcement of the election results for the international structure.

The election results resulted in the selection of Professor Manal Shebain as new president of the International Francophone Federation for Clinical Biology and Laboratory Medicine, along with the election of Professor Yissar al-Qaleei as assistant secretary general. Both the people and the castle represent the Tunisian Society for Clinical Biology within the new leadership of this specialized organization.

The federal composition also saw the election of Dr. Khalil bin Abdullah as a representative of the affiliated members within the international structure. Bin Abdullah is also the president of the Tunisian Syndicate of Biologists of Skills, to boost Tunisian professional attendance at the Joint Organisation for Laboratory Medicine and Biology.

The International Francophone Federation of Clinical Biology and Laboratory Medicine originated at its founding conference hosted by the city of Hammamet 19 years ago, with the participation of professional associations and trade unions concerned with the field of analysis and clinical biology.
