Political Activist Criticizes Lack of Implementation of Constitution and Institutions in Tunisia

Tunisian political activist Taher Ben Hussein criticized the current implementation of the constitution in Tunisia, questioning the absence of several constitutional institutions, including the Constitutional Court and local councils.

He pointed out that the Constitutional Court has not been established despite more than four years since the adoption of the 2022 constitution, while elected local councils remain absent since their dissolution in March 2023.
