Water Supply Disruptions and Interruptions in Several Communes in Sidi Bouzid, Kairouan, and Sfax

The National Company for the Management and Distribution of Water reported disruptions and interruptions in water supply to several communes in Sidi Bouzid, Kairouan, and Sfax, including Oulad Hfouf, Saida, and Riqab in Sidi Bouzid, Sharrarda in Kairouan, and Béer Ali and Manzel Sakher in Sfax.

The company attributed the interruptions to a sudden fault that occurred on the main water supply pipeline with a diameter of 1100 millimeters in the area of Lousseida, and expects to gradually resume water supply after completing the repair work.

Residents in the affected areas are calling for accelerated intervention to address the water shortage and prevent future sudden interruptions.
