The French authorities have issued 5,480 evacuation orders for Tunisians
Tunisians rank second among the nations most targeted by decisions to leave French territory during the first half of 2026 by more than 8% of the total.

France topped the European Union in terms of total expulsion decisions issued against foreigners residing outside the continental bloc, after reaching 67,000 administrative decisions and 300 decisions within six months. Data from Eurostat showed that the overall ranking of relevant nationalities put Algerian nationals at the top of the list with about 13,745 decisions, followed by Tunisians and then Moroccans with 4,825 decisions.
The citizens of the three Moroccan Arab countries together formed the largest bloc in terms of those covered by these measures, totaling up to 24,000 and 50 resolutions to leave French soil. This Moroccan figure represents about 35.7% of the total number of decisions issued by the French authorities during the first half of 2026.
These procedures in France take the administrative formula known as OQTF, an official measure that legally obliges the foreigners concerned to leave the country once approved.
