Lawyer Guild President Calls for National March on October 17
The President of the National Bar Association has called on lawyers and all Tunisians to participate in a national march on October 17, starting from Mohamed Ali Hammam Square.

The President of the National Bar Association has called on lawyers and all Tunisians to participate in a national march on October 17, starting from Mohamed Ali Hammam Square at 11:00 AM. The march will carry the slogan of work, freedom, national dignity, and the defense of community rights and republican values.
This call comes amid ongoing preparations for organizing the national march in the capital, which aims to demand the release of political detainees and the cessation of investigations against opponents.
In contrast, the secretary-general of the Pathway Party, Badereddine Ghrislaoui, accused those calling for this march of seeking to destabilize the country. Ghrislaoui stated in a statement on the party's official page that this movement is influenced by external and local parties.
Civil and political forces supporting the march reaffirmed their commitment to the right to peaceful assembly to end judicial harassment and release those with opinions.
