381 European parliamentarians voted in favor of a decision calling for the inclusion of Ennahda and its networks on the EU list of terrorist organizations, while 167 voted against and 15 abstained.
The decision is not binding and calls for cutting off funding sources for the group and preventing cooperation with its networks, as well as establishing a unified European policy to address the issue.
The actual listing on the list remains with the European Council, which has yet to make a decision.
