Military Court of Appeal Rules to Sentence Shimaa Issa to 6 Months in Prison with Suspended Sentence

The Military Court of Appeal in Tunisia overturned the initial ruling in the case of activist Shimaa Issa and sentenced her to six months in prison with a suspended sentence.

The decision was based on a political radio interview in which she was accused of offenses related to Article 24 of Decree-Law 54, the Military Proceedings Code, and the Penal Code.
