Minister of Trade and Export Development Samir Abed, during a parliamentary session, revealed that there were difficulties in matching some basic materials within the Tunisian courts of trade, due to the overlapping equipment used.

The minister explained that the dishes are based on a single machine for cooking rice, which was also used in a previous period for cooking tea, indicating the limited equipment available for cooking processes. These statements come amid continuing disruptions in the availability of some basic materials in markets, despite the minister's confirmation that rice stock is sufficient for six months, coffee stock for four months and sugar stock for about five months.
